Perhaps my greatest qualities: I remain connected to you, no matter what you tell me. Making sure you feel safe. Because only when you feel safe, in your body and with me, can we approach the trauma. From delay and connection, we will move step by step closer to the trauma. And where I might sometimes be unsafe as a therapist, my co-therapist, the horse, definitely is not. You can always rely on that. That delay is extremely important. So you can stay with yourself. Even when we are moving towards trauma. The 'healing' lies not in pushing away the feelings that arise, but in (alongside me and the horse) enduring these feelings. Not all at once. Step by step. My practice is located among the horses on a care farm that is easily accessible, on the edge of a beautiful nature area. I have my own horses that I use for therapy, but I also use horses and ponies from the riding school. You don't need to have any experience with horses. We won't be riding them. I use horses of different shapes and sizes. For people who find it exciting, I use a smaller pony. I specialize in the subject of trauma. I have experienced a lot in my own life. That is one of the reasons I find it so incredibly interesting. What happens in our entire system when we experience a traumatic event. Whether that happened at a young age or recently. I offer one-on-one guidance. How long a process lasts? Hard to say. Trauma is extremely complicated. You start with a 4-month process with me. Then you'll have taken several beautiful steps. However, for complex trauma, these 4 months are not sufficient, and I will guide you further in the same way after these 4 months if desired. I do not work from a specific method.
